Definition: Cell
We are cells, comprising something larger.
We are also made of cells. They comprise us.
This is a fractal relationship. As above, so below. It's turtles all the way down, and all the way up.
Consider Thesus' Ship. Then, consider that the cells comprising you are being replaced by the thousands. Millions? One way or the other, most of the cells keeping you rattling along weren't around five years ago. Yet, the comprised being (that's you, fathead) still exists, acting its part in whatever the comprised being above might be experiencing.
Not sure if traveling along the fractal curve is a quantum phenomenon, considering where there will be outposts of consciousness.
Cells, by and large, have no awareness of the bigger picture. A cell in my aorta has no idea what's going on up here where I'm conscious.
